For 2011, the team came up with a new sequence to be performed at a lower altitude, making the show more compact and spectacular than last year.

Just like last year, the demo team uses flares during the show making this spectacular demo unique in the world.

For 2011 and 2012, the Apache of the team received a new, full-frame paint job; the colours are actually add-on stickers that can be removed easily, making it possible for the 301 Squadron to rapidly prepare the aircraft for immediate deployment to operational missions when needed.

The design for 2011-2012 was chosen out of multiple designs sent in to the team in a competition that was held in March 2011.
