This year the demo team was asked to perform a display during the Navy days in Den Helder. Eventually with 150,000 spectators, fantastic weather and many impressive demonstrations of all services, it was an incredibly successful event. Voor 2011 traint het team ook boven het water. Boven het water ontbreken de normale referentiepunt en en ook de hoogte inschatting is moeilijker. Daarom moet het team dit ook trainen om een zo mooi- en veilig mogelijke show te kunnen verzorgen.

Voor het eerst in de geschiedenis heeft een helikopter gevlogen op biofuel. Een Apache AH-64D gevechtshelikopter van de Koninklijke Luchtmacht maakte vandaag op Vliegbasis Gilze-Rijen een demonstratievlucht met de biologische brandstof.
